This is a Hatha Yoga alignment-based class in which postures are held from 45 seconds to 90 seconds, beginning & ending with Pranayama, or yogic breathwork. The intention for this class is to hold static shapes to maximize focus and to allow the student to truly feel each posture deeply in their bodies. This method allows for a deeper understanding of & connection to each pose, thereby increasing the strength, stamina, & knowledge required to move safely and confidently through all styles of Yoga. Foundations for Strength - A is appropriate for beginners & recommended for all looking to focus deeply on foundational postures typically found in Vinyasa Flow classes.
