HYEJIN
Instructor
Hyejin is a 500 E-RYT & certified holistic health coach with a passion for all things wellness. She has been a student of yoga for over a decade, & since graduating her 200 hour teacher training program in 2020 she dove right into teaching full time & has since taught over 1000 classes & taken another 300 hours of advanced training. Connecting students to themselves through mindfulness, breath, & movement is one of her greatest joys, & she truly believes that weaving the yogic teachings & philosophies into our lives off of the mat is one of the most transformative actions we can take to live as our most authentic, fullest, most peaceful versions of ourselves. She strives to create a safe space in all her classes for her students to find their balance between “sthira” & “sukha,” or effort & ease, challenging them to explore their edges & also to set & maintain boundaries to always honor their needs first.

JAN
Instructor
Jan is a native of Pennsylvania but has lived in the Greenville area for 22 years. By day Jan is a CFO for a local textile plant, but during evenings and weekends she enjoys yoga and long distance running. Jan discovered yoga after many years of being an ultra-distance athlete. She began running when she was 35, and by the time she was 57 she accomplished 8 Ironman distance triathlons, over 15 marathons, five 50K ultra marathons and one 50-mile ultra marathon. Yin seems to be a great balance to her yang way of life.
Yoga started out as a way to find flexibility and rest after long training weekends. Later yoga became a regular part of her training plans. Yin yoga has helped her find stillness and peace, and it helped her to develop a solid mediation practice that has kept her grounded over the past year as she is learning to navigate into a gentler way of life. Focusing on stillness and breath has been very therapeutic and restorative to not only her body but her state of mind.
Jan has recently completed her 200 RYT certified yoga training from Soul Yoga Studio, Greenville, SC. Jan practices power vinyasa yoga, vinyasa yoga and yin yoga. Her hope is to share what she has found in a balanced life; the love of the “race” while embracing the love of “stillness”.
Jan is married to a local Greenville guy, David, and has a son William, who will be graduating from Travelers Rest High School this year. She enjoys her furry animals (3 goats, 2 dogs and 1 cat) and loves time spent with her family on the lake when not training or practicing yoga.

JULIE
Instructor
Julie is a graduate of The University of Ga. where she earned a BS in Psychology. She became a certified Holistic Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in May of 2018, and loves helping others discover how to truly live their best lives.
Julie discovered her passion for yoga in 2001 & began her yoga journey with Bikram. She received her 200-hr Anusara-inspired Vinyasa yoga teacher certification in 2019. She has additional certifications in both Pranakriya-Yin and Grounded Kids Yoga.
Julie has been a practitioner of Transcendental Meditation for many years and will use her experience to encourage students to go inward and find the stillness within each posture. Her hope is to help you find a safe space on your mat to unwind from your busy day, and walk out feeling refreshed, restored and ultimately relaxed.
Julie recently moved to Travelers Rest from Atlanta with her daughters Jocelyn 16, & Juniper 6. They share their home with 3 rescue fur babies and hope to soon have chickens and goats. Julie has been a practitioner of yoga for over 20 years and practiced throughout both of her pregnancies. In fact, her water broke in the studio, after class, during her last pregnancy! Outside of yoga, she’s passionate about nutrition, travel and finding peace in nature.

SELLERS
Instructor
Sellers graduated from Furman University with a degree in Health and Exercise Science. She then managed fashion PR for Oscar de la Renta in New York and London prior to transitioning to managing LUXYOGA in the South of France. During this time, she suffered from a debilitating eating disorder. This experience guided her into a healthier lifestyle where she focused on intentional movement and finding peace. As she fell in love with this practice and new lifestyle, she wanted to help others find healing through movement. She followed her passion and completed 300-hour teacher training in Bar Method.

TYLER
Instructor
Tyler is ERYT200 Yoga Alliance Certified and Yoga Sculpt Certified. She is from Knoxville, Tennessee and moved to Greenville, SC on a basketball scholarship.
During college, she started practicing Yoga her senior year. She was playing basketball everyday - long practices and running long distance/workouts everyday! She found her body to be sore and achy all the time.
Over Christmas break one year, a friend suggested she tried Yoga, and Tyler absolutely fell in love! She did yoga for 30 days straight, and it changed her life.
When she went back to school to play ball the next semester, she felt and played better than ever, with improved stats and overall performance. Yoga also helped her feel better mentally, emotionally, and physically. Tyler became stronger and more balanced!!
Tyler is 27 years old with 2 baby girls, living on a farm in Dacusville with her husband and 2 hound dogs - and loves being outside! Anything outdoors is her jam.
She teaches yoga, sculpt, and HIIT classes! Tyler also coaches basketball lessons to high school girls! She is either coaching basketball, teaching a yoga class, taking classes, or running on the Swamp Rabbit trail - if she doesn’t have her babies!

WENDY
Instructor
Wendy has been in the fitness industry for over 30 years with many certifications under her belt, from bootcamp to yoga. At the age of 25, while subbing for an active older adults class, is when she discovered her love for students with certain mobility, strength, and flexibility challenges. She has been focusing on helping anyone with an injury, pre and post surgical needs and limited strength and mobility for the last 20 years. Wendy's main focus is to see her students live pain free and to feel strong in their everyday life. Her passion for helping people live life to the fullest is her greatest reward. She always says, "I want you feeling better going out the door than when you came in!"

RACHEL
Instructor
Rachel originally started practicing yoga as a way to balance out her love of running. She connected with the way that yoga helped her stretch, breathe, build strength, and prevent injury from all the pavement pounding. Over the years, yoga played a much bigger role in Rachel's life, including managing a CorePower Yoga studio in Berkeley, CA. Now she turns to yoga for community, balance, and mindfulness. Rachel completed her 200-hour YTT at CorePower Yoga in 2013.
In 2018, Rachel became a holistic Nutrition Consultant through Bauman College, and then became Board Certified in Holistic Nutrition. She is passionate about helping people support their bodies naturally and feel their best- especially when it comes to stress and burnout.
Outside of the studio, Rachel loves to run on the Swamp Rabbit Trail and explore hikes around the area. She just recently moved to Greenville from the San Francisco Bay area, and she is excited to connect with the community here!

JOHNPAUL (JP)
Instructor
Born and raised in Greenville, JP found yoga in late 2020 as a way to strengthen his boxing practice. Almost immediately after he noticed a new kind of equanimity within him that just couldn't be found through anything else. That's when he decided to dedicate himself to the practice. A year later he went through teacher training at Soul Yoga and became a 200RYT.
When he's not on the mat you can find him in the gym as an athlete, personal trainer, and self-defense teacher. He is also very passionate about philosophy, sound, writing, and tea. His ultimate goal is to gain and share knowledge of various methods of self-development, and to help those that want to help themselves in these matters. He remains open to living life as much of a student as he is a teacher.

KATY
Instructor
Katy is a local elementary school teacher who loves teaching yoga in her spare time! Katy earned her 200-hour yoga teacher certification with Youga Yoga while liveing in South Texas in 2019, and has since become a certified group fitness instructor through AFAA. Katy enjoys creating dynamic and creative flows that challenge and inspire. When she's no teaching, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two huskies. Katy also has a pet cat named Cow, after her favorite yoga pose!

JASMINE
Instructor
Jasmine believes that our bodies are filled with healing energy, and that movement and breath are keys to unlocking all the magic inside. Her goal as an instructor is to help the individuals to uncover and connect to that healing energy in order to shine brightly on and off the mat. She loves creating a space that is empowering, fun, and playful. You can absolutely expect to laugh with (or at) her to be serious all of the time.
When she's not teaching yoga, you can probably find her enjoying a glass of wine in the sunshine with her big ol' pups.

ADRIANA
Instructor
Adriana began practicing yoga during graduate school in Washington D.C. What began as a solely physical practice in a fast-paced environment quickly became a mindful release after going through a divorce and losing her mother in the same year. She witnessed the true healing properties of yoga in her mind and body. After earning her Master's degree, Adriana moved to Greenville in 2021 to be closer to her family. Shortly after her transition, she began her 200-hour yoga teacher training through Vibrant Life Yoga with Brian Delaney, whose balanced practice aligned with her values. Adriana not only developed her asana skills but built a foundation for a yogic lifestyle and mindset that she strives to translate in the studio. As a teacher, Adriana encourages acceptance and confidence in postures that are grounded in breath.
Adriana also received her Barre and Classical Mat Pilates levels 1 & 2 certifications. Her ballet background informs her structured yet graceful Barre and Pilates style.
